WHY DID I OPT FOR HUMANITIES || TIPS ON HOW TO CHOOSE YOUR STREAM

This is something that I've wanted all of you to read for a very long time and I am so excited for you all to read it.

So I had a pretty tough time selecting my stream for 11th grade. I was in a confusion. After a long time, with the help of my parents and an institution called Aura Shikshana, I chose humanities. I am very happy with the decision I made. So today I am going to share with you all my reason and the process of selecting humanities. Some tips to choose your stream are also given so make sure to read it till the end!



Confused students think about solving the task




 At one point I was very sure of selecting bio math so that I have options to choose from after my 12th grade. I was still hesitant because I did not really like to study math and science for my higher education. There were subjects that I loved! 

The subjects that I loved to study were social science, Malayalam and English. Even though I loved these subjects I doubted whether It provides opportunities. I was then thinking of going for commerce but I didn't want to study accountancy. I was all worried and confused! I took a lot of aptitude tests but none of it gave me the confidence.

That was when I came to know about the institution 'Aura Shikshana'. I took their psychometric test and waited for their call. They contacted me in no time. I attended their career counseling session. They told me that my highest interest is in social science which was nothing but the truth. They assured me that I will never regret choosing humanities. When I told them that I was worried about the opportunities they gave me a very detailed explanation and listed a lot of career options!

To my amazement, I came to know that there are lots and lots of opportunities in humanities. When they were listing out each of them I was so excited that I couldn't stop smiling! 

I am so grateful that I came to know about Aura Shikshana. I am very thankful to my parents for always supporting me.

This is how I chose humanities. You guys are probably tired of hearing this, but I'm very happy with my decision!

Some of the tips to chose your stream are : 

  • Know your interests 

  • Make sure that you will not regret it 

  • Make sure that you will be happy studying the subjects 

  • Take a career test

  • Think about your long term goals
